My version of muesli rolls: they are rolls made with organic whole wheat flour, dates, walnuts, and cinnamon. Absolutely delicious and only 151 calories each!
1 cup of Jovial organic wheat flour = 300 calories
1 cup of Fage nonfat yogurt = 120 calories
14 grams of walnuts = 95 Calories
4 Chopped dates = 80 Calories
1/2 egg white = 9 calories
Cinnamon = 0 Calories.
Baking powder = 0 calories
Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (except for the walnuts and dates). Separate the dough into 4 pieces and make a ball shape with each one. Flatten them out into a pancake shape, sprinkle top with cinnamon and then place the walnuts and dates on top. Fold the the ends in to close it up and form into a roll shape. there should be no visible cinnamon, walnuts, or dates on the outside.
Place the rolls on a nonstick pan sprayed with extra virgin olive oil spray and bake them in the oven at 375° for 23 minutes.
