Recipe for my homemade chili slow cooked in my crockpot for six hours:
I place in my crockpot the following ingredients:
2 lbs of ground turkey
2 15 ounce cans of cannellini beans
1 32 ounce can of diced tomatoes
1 chopped medium size sweet onion
4 chopped cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 can of beer
Sea salt
Mix together and slow cook in a crockpot/slow cooker for 5 or 6 hours
You will need to calculate the calories with the ingredients you use. Since different cans of diced tomatoes, beans, and even ground turkey can be different calories, You should add up all the calories, divide by the servings/weight and calculate how much your chili will be.
