Let the nutrients shine on your breakfast: a banana cinnamon whole wheat waffle topped with banana slices blueberries, and surrounded by strawberries. Before I ate it I drizzled some chocolate PB2 mixed with water on top of it as my syrup.
Recipe:
Mix in a bowl:
1/2 banana = 53 Calories
1/4 cup of unbleached whole wheat flour = 120 Calories
1 Egg = 70 Calories
4 Strawberries = 15 Calories
11 blueberries = 8
Slices of banana (took two slices from the 1/2 banana) = 0 Calories
Sea salt, baking powder, and cinnamon = 0 Calories
A whole wheat banana waffle. Mash 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup of unbleached whole wheat flour, 1 beaten egg, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of water.
Once mixed, pour the mixture into a preheated waffle maker and cook for 3 minutes.
Surround the waffle with sliced strawberries, use 2 banana slices and two blueberries for the eyes, and more blueberries for the mouth.
Instead of syrup, you can drizzle on top 2 tablespoons of Chocolate PB2 mixed with water for an additional 50 calories.
