Mexican Turkey Burger - 350 Calories

Mexican turkey burger on sprouted flaxseed toast with yellow mustard, arugula, and a slice of tomato. With a side of oven roasted brussels sprouts. 350 calories for this meal.

1 homemade Mexican turkey burger with corn, onion, sun-dried tomato, jalapeño, and cheddar cheese = 193 Calories

2 slices of Alvarado Street Bakery Sprouted Flax Seed Bread = 100 Calories.

6 Oven roasted Brussels sprouts= 52 Calories.

1 slice of tomato = 3 Calories.

1/2 cup of arugula = 2 Calories.

2 tablespoons Yellow mustard= 0 Calories.

Recipe for burgers (makes 4)

A 1 pound package of ground turkey = 530 Calories.

1 ounce of cheddar cheese = 110 calories.

1 beaten egg = 70 calories.

1/8 cup of chopped onion = 16 Calories.

1/8 cup of corn = 16 Calories.

1/2 ounce of sun dried tomato = 40 Calories

1/3 jalapeño = 2 Calories.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and form 4 patties out of them. Then cook the burgers on a medium flame in a nonstick pan sprayed with extra-virgin olive oil spray for six minutes on each side with the lid on. Putting a lid on the frying pan will make sure your burger stay very moist.
